Date/Day: 4th November - 6th November 2008, Tuesday - Thursday
Time: Meet at Pasir Ris MRT Station @ 4pm 3:30pm
BBQ starts @ 5pm
Cost: $17*

*we have collected an extra sum, just in case something happens all of a sudden, that might require on the stop last minute payment. The extra cash will be returned at the end of the chalet.

Please pay the $17 by latest THURSDAY, 23rd October, at the last day of school.

Secondly, we have also been told that we will not be needed to change rooms during the second day. Thus, you guys can sleep through the night, which i doubt you guys will, peacefully.

All prices are corrected to 3Day/2Night

Aranda Country Club
Size: approx. 1 house @ 1,550 sq
Price for Members:$240
Price for NTUC Union Member:$280
Price for Public: $400

Coasta Sands
Size: Deluxe Room --> approx. 1 small room with 1 small toilet. (Therefore, even if little people is staying over, 1 room is impossible to fit 20 - 30 people. Thus, the prices has been X2 for 2 rooms)
Price for NTUC Union Member: $600
Price for Public: $900

These prices do not include BBQ Pits and Food.

Therefore, Aranda Country Club is much more worth it, based on Size:Price ratio

if someone's parents is an ACC member
the total cost of staying there for 3 days 2 nights is $520
if no one's parent is an ACC member
we hv an alternative which is to find someone's parent who is a NTUC Union member
and the total cost will be $600 for 3 days 2 nights

whereas for Costa Sands
if someone's parent is a NTUC member
the cost will be $380 for 3 days 2 nights
(including the price for booking a bbq pit for 2 nights)

*note the difference between the 2 coloured words

and obviously if we book either one as a non-member
both will be super expensive

This post is to remind you about the questionnaire that was sent on Sunday. Please remember that the deadline for the submission is 15th October, Wednesday - Tomorrow. For those who can't submit, because your CCA schedule is not out yet, just submit whatever you have, excluding the CCA days, because your CCA won't take up your whole day. However, if you already have the dates, please indicate.

Secondly, based on the results up till now, we have picked out 3 weeks, so if you have not done your surveys, you can just fill up these following weeks found in the questionnaire:

24/11 – 29/11

Therefore, you can choose to ignore the other weeks, and all the saturdays.

Here to post abt the class chalet stuff luh. x.x
1) The prices--
First, Aranda country club
Monday to thurs- $350 (2nd floor)
- $390 (ground floor)
Friday to sunday- $400(2nd floor)
- $440(ground floor)
These are the prices for non-members, so if they are any aranda country club members, plz step up cuz the cost will be lowered by almost half if member booking :D
Actually, everybody only needs to pay approximately $15 at most. (this is to clear the stereotype that aranda is much more expensive)

Next, costa sands resort
It is approximately $225 per night.
Thus 3D 2N = $450
1Person= $15 at most
This is also the prices for non-members; for member bookings it will be 1/4 cheaper plus there will be special promotions.

As you can see, the prices are relatively the same. As for the choice, we will probably take aranda country club due to the higher vote count. :D that should be the final decision.

2) Dates--
2c, as you all can see, there is a divided vote count for the month that the chalet should be organised. We also need to know the month that you all are free as booking is not an impromptu arrangement.
Hence, if there is no changes by the end of this week, we will take the month with the highest votes as the booking dates for the chalet.
We apologise for the rushed decision but it is impossible to accomodate to the luxury of everyone.
However, it will nt be called a class chalet without all 36 of us, so if majority of you are really really nt free on the decided dates, pls bring up ur case. (:

So far, november is leading :D
hopefully can settle dates and location and collect money by THIS WEEK. then the programmes and food and iternary can be further planned.
Rmb, if the class chalet is planned on a date that you are nt free, changes are irreversible, so please remember to bring up ur views and decisions.
